An outfielder and catcher, Mary Laidlaw played for Dan Davidson’s and Ramblers of the Greater Winnipeg Senior Girls League during the late 1940s and the 1950s. A top hitter throughout her career, she won the league batting title in 1951 with a.400 average. In 1954, the league recognized her for her defensive ability. Mary passed away Dec. 28, 2004.
